montagne jeunesse face masks

hey everyone,

so today i am going to review some more face masks from Montagne jeunesse*, in my last post, the lush post, i mentioned that i love, long bubble baths, with candles and a face mask on, and these are the face masks i love to put on, they smell amazing and make your skin feel so soft.

the masks i have are dragon fruit, pear peel off and paw paw peel off mask. Is it just me or does this remind you of the jungle book song
"Now when you pick a paw paw
Or a prickly pear
And you prick a raw paw
Next time beware
Don't pick the prickly pear by the paw
When you pick a pear
Try to use the claw
But you don't need to use the claw
When you pick a pear of the big pawpaw Have I given you a clue ?"

(i love this song so much!)
The first one i used was the dragon fruit mask:

this has fleshly crushed dragon fruit, watermelon and pulped kiwi fruit. So it has the seeds of the kiwi fruit, and it is actually self heating, its a weird sensation. As i put it on my hands it started to heat up, it actually was really hot, it feels really nice though, it cools down on the skin after about 5 minutes and when i took it off, i had really soft, smooth skin, it felt clean, like squeaky clean but was still really soft and actually felt moisturising.
"Get a fabulous glow with the Montagne Jeunesse Dragon Fruit Sauna, a self-heating masque packed with extracts of Dragon Fruit, rich in vitamins C, B1, B2 and B3 with anti-ageing and healing properties. Other ingredients include Watermelon, rich in Vitamins A, B and C to help remove blemishes and moisturise the skin, plus pears and kiwi which are rich in Vitamin C and help to produce collagen, great for soft and supple skin. For warm yet wonderful results, this is a face masque must."

im going to talk about these together, because you may know i dont really like peel off masks, they dont peel off really well and always leave bits on your skin that need washing off. So what i do know if what for the 10-15 mins and then just wash it all off.
did you know that the paw paw is south american and that we call it the papaya fruit? :D neither did i till i read the back of this, cool huh?
so anyway the papaya one smells really good, its like an orange consistency  And makes your skin really soft when i take it off. This helps to clear your skin up, has an anti-inflammatory and helps to protect.
"Care, repair and revitalise skin with the Montagne Jeunesse Paw Pore Peel Off, packed with fresh papaya to help heal damaged skin and remove dead skin cells, as well as juiced mango, rich in Vitamin C which helps to control pimples and blemish prone skin. With a sweet squeeze of grape and noni juice, both full of antioxidants to help fight off infection, this masque also helps to reduce the appearance of scarring and inflammation. So, say farewell to those not-so-perfect pores."

prickly pear is a purple colour and smells really good too, this one helps to give your skin anti-oxidants and helps protect your skin. "Banish those blemishes with the Montagne Jeunesse Prickly Pear Peel Off, with fresh extracts of Prickly Pear, rich in minerals and Vitamin C – unlike its name, you’ll be left with noticeably smooth skin! Other unique ingredients include Melon, rich in Vitamin A and antioxidants, and a fresh squeeze of Mangosteen known as the ‘Queen of the fruits’; a super-fruit renowned for its anti-inflammatory & antibacterial properties, so it pretty much rules the face masque world."

Montagne Jeunesse Exotic Fruits are £1.29 and available from Boots, ASDA and www.montagnejeunesse.com
